Kinda. But I fault my parents for nothing in the way they raised me. I think they did a marvelous job and I could never thank them enough. (not being immodest, but it is true)

Yes, and there was enough asskicking going on in the neighbourhood to "keep it real". What Is The Purpose Of Writing All Your First Letters In Caps? Not That There Is Anything Wrong With That... Dont You Find It Annoying To Have To Hit The Caps Button So Often. I Bet You Play Piano In "Real Life".

yes. My mother was up every morning cooking a hot meal, maybe get cold cereal twice a week including weekends. She made sure we were out at the busstop.
My parents everyday told us they loved us and gave us hugs even when we were older and didnt want them too. My parents showed each other affection so it rubbed off on us, well me I know it did cant say if it did for my sister.
They listened to me for hours learn to play the flute and then watched me win every medal during contest. My dad let me practice my karate on him ,lol he regreted this sometimes but all the more he did to boost my self confidence.
I'm sorry that some of you didn't have that and I hope the ones who didnt will not pass that onto their kids =)

It was always taken for granted that I would go to university and it never occurred to me to decide not to. So I went without any real career goals and got a degree in Business Administration which I have never used.

heck no.. but it's something I install in my children.. .. and never negative reinforcement. .. there is such a thing.. I think allot of teachers I had growing up used the negative reinforcement..
"Out of the whole class, only one of you got an F on the test. I won't say any names but her initials are Min **** "

Yes in Sunday school and from my teachers. I didn't get too much of it at home but at the same time, I didn't get negative reinforcement.

My parents always told me that I was the BEST. I am more confident as an adult knowing that they thought I was GREAT!
