I don't think the Shona Laing song was what he was looking for. I remember a more punk sounding song from the 80's with a male lead singer. The lyrics included the line: "Now that I've known you for a year or so, you can stop pretending to be Marilyn Monroe. I don't want to be a Kennedy ... "

Oh man-- I remember that.
Blanking out on the name of the artist, but the song was titled "I'm Glad I'm not a Kennedy".

Google said the artist's name is Shona Laing.
