I can't stand IT when tanned people tell me to go get a tan...to tell you the truth I hate tans...I love the porcelein doll skin...and I wouldn't get a tan even if they payed me because I want to keep my skin young...well I need a good comeback if someone calls me pale or asks me 'why are you so white like a ghost, go get a tan'

-I have always been pale. If someone asks you why you are so white, ask them why they are so fugly. At least you can get tan if you wanted to. They can't be attractive.

I am also very white! I have had comments like, "man, you are the whitest white person I have ever seen!" I don't care though because, the risks of a tan far out weigh the small bit of short lived joy that you get from a tan. Skin cancer runs on both sides of my family and it is just not worth it to me. Also, I am 45 and don't have a wrinkle on my face.I think this lack of tan thing is working for me. So..when people ask me why I don't tan I tell them that I am flammable! :)

You could tell them: 1. Because I'm from Iceland and have an ice tan. 2. Because I drink a lot of white wine and eat choose white rather than dark chicken pieces.. 3. Because I eat a lot of vanilla ice cream topped with cool whip. 4. Because I'm playing the part of a ghost in motion picture.

You just keep your beautiful skin, because you won't have to worry about wrinkles and skin cancer in your older years...those people who want to be so tan, will be the first ones in line to have their skin cancer taken care of.....you go girl

I too love pale skin!!!
tell them you don't want to get skin cancer, duh!
or look like an old leather shoe.
did you ever used to watch Seinfeld?
if so... remember the episode at the Hamptons when Elaine is wearing the big floppy hat and she's totally dressed while the other women are in tiny bikinis.
Jerry says "and then there's Maude"

Tell them because you don't like skin diseases.Some of them will think about your response later in life at the dermatologist.

I also stay out of the sun & we will have young looking skin while all the tanners have leather skin later.

i am white and all right
looked shocked and look at yourself and scream like you did not know it
i was tanned and someone stole it from me
tell them the tan is in the cleaners
