Don't listen to the folks who say to wait til your son is older! Right now, the magic is that to him it's all real. Yes, there are height requirements (not for everything, but for a lot). I have un-tall children, so we are counting the inches for my three year old. The height requirements vary by ride and can be 36, 40, or 48 inches depending on the ride. Check the disney website for the specifics of each ride. Also, if you and your husband enjoy riding thrill rides, you can do a child swap thing to avoid waiting in line twice. Have fun!

The website could probably answer your questions, but can I make a suggestion? I would wait to take a child to Disney World especially if you do have to pay. A 2 year old is not going to remember it. I was 6 the first time I went and I can only vaguely remember it and can only remember certain things...not much of the trip at all. So, basically, it was a waste of money and time. It's too much to pay for them to not be able to do anything and especially if they're not even going to remember it. But, that's your call I guess.

It all depends on the ride!
Obviously Space Mountain's height requirement is going to be far higher than Its a Small World.
And I'm pretty sure they get in free.
On the website for ticket options it says children ages 3-9 and then adults 10 and up.
Don't listen to the person below me. She/he might not remember it that well, but this is a great opportunity for you as a parent to watch the magnificent smile on their face.
My first time down there I was 3 years old and I have since developed a passion for Disney world.
now, i go once a year.
Have a magical time!

I went contained in the 1980's, in my 20's. i will inform you from journey there is an undesirable lot of strolling to the place you could desire to pass. Plus there wasn't that many toddler friendly rides there, till the grownup substitute into with them. an outstanding variety of issues there are extra meant for older childrens. it extremely is extremely useful to pass on line to Disney's internet site and do a sprint analysis. Or, call up the resport and ask for a unfastened recommendations packet. they generally have a video attainable to allow you to notice the countless factors of interest. it could help your determination. yet another ingredient is to pass on your community bookstall and %. up a duplicate of vacationing Disney worldwide With childrens 2006 or 2007. They record each and all of the do's and don'ts of traveling with infants. And keep in mind, infants get cranky right now. They do have some stations to shelter a teen's needs, yet maximum infants won't have the ability to stay nevertheless too long. Plus, there may be very long strains.

No tickets are for 3 or older. Rides with height requirements had a notice posted, usually a Disney character and something like if you're this height it's okay to ride.

I think that all rides are different, but a 2 year old does NOT need a ticket. You are safe until your child turns 3. Magic away!

If I am remembering correctly a two year old doesn't pay. There are lots of things to do that don't have height requirements, your kid will have lots of fun

Well, I think taking a two-year old is nice and your child will have a great time (and you definitely do not have to pay for him/her), but I don't think your child will remember much (or anything). Those memories might be there subconciously, but it is doubtful he/she will remember anything. I took both of my kids when they were about three and neither remembers anything. And no rude comments about their mental capacities.....
