I am looking for a degree/Course/Certification which mainly concentrates on teaching several random number generators? To be specific my aim is to generate the "Random Number Generator" from given the random number sequence. Please guide me on this.
Many thanks in advance.

i recommend taking a cyptology degree with wither a secondary in computer science, or software engineering. You'll ne to understand the mathmatic behind the process of generating what appears to be random numbers. The is no such thing as truely random generators. If that was the case computer games would be oh so more exciting. In fact some day i hope you help animators/game designers like me create event drive systems based on random generation... wish you luck

Read about randomness from a decent source... Search google scholar for articles on randomness. There are quite afew ways of describing randomness and they do not always agree if something is random or not. Then of course go on to discover the "generation" part of randomness from a technical point of view. By the way randomness has little to do with number theory and a lot to do with mathematical logic and theoretical computer science. And as for certification, I haven't heard of an "expert random generator" before and I doubt any institution bestows such a title. Of course you may get a degree in mathematical logic or theoretical computer science specializing in randomness.

Why don't you try getting computer science degree. I remember people creating programs that do things similar like making Minesweeper that generate random locations and such. Computer science degree should be more than enough to teach you how to generate random numbers and do other cool things.

first of all if you want to become an expert on random number generators then you should realize that they are all pseudo-random number generators.

As for what courses to take, you will need some computer science courses, and some courses on number theory.

Anything related to Cryptography would be a good place to start.
