A police report is a public record. You can mail the police precinct that the report was filed in, maybe have to pay a nominal fee for the photocopying, but you should be able to obtain a copy of any police report. I don't get the "if I just tell them . . ." sentence. Anyway, I don't see any problem with those police reports being brought into evidence at a custody hearing.

Portions of all police reports are public information and so anyone can request those from the police station, but you have to go there in person most of the time since there are usually copying fees involved. Portions of the reports are not public information and so you will not be able to see all of the information the police have, but it should give you enough to help build a case.
I would suggest if you will use this in a legal proceeding that you have your lawyer do the discovery, including the obtaining of these reports.

Well if your getting divorced you should have an attorney and by that he could advise you and would be able to research that himself. The best divorce attorney is female. They will know how your wife is thinking and women can be very vandictive. Not to mention..to have a female attorney representing you might upset the ex just a tad....muhahahahahaa. Ok must I stop before the devilish angel in me says too much.

yes you can or when you go to court or to the judge they can get the record for you if you tell them the reason. and if you have a lawer they can get them to. I would try everything if i were you he doesnt sound like a good guy. or a guy who would make a good stepfather. You can also try to get copies from the police station but it may cost you a few $.

Police calls may be a problem. But if she filed a police report on him than you can get his records. It will cost a few bucks but you can obtain anybody's police record.

Start sleeping with the female police woman in her area. Then get her to print you out the records.

I doubt they'll let you get the record. anyone's personal records are confidential, unless you ask her to write down her permission for you to get the record then that should work.
