You know, I'm all for a third party, but not Nader. We need a third party that has a middle candidate, not a guy who is further to the right than Ted Kennedy. So yes, it is scary. Glad we have nothing to worry about.

Ralph Nader's the best candidate to run for president in a long time. What's scary is how many clueless people who know little or nothing about the man are willing to dismiss him outright with unsubstantiated attacks--"him" being someone you can thank for the Freedom of Information Act, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and seatbelts, to name just a few of the ways he's helped Americans. He's done far more for this country than any of the corporate-owned weasels who don't care one bit about you or me--actions speak louder than words.

What exactly is wrong? At least he isn't extreme like some of the Republicans and Democrats.

Go double mint go!

Paul K quoted on 9/06/06:

"Double Mint. Both the R and the D seem to attract the "extreme". I believe the answers are usually in the middle and I recognize the need for compromise. I also think it is important to know the person. When I vote, it is usually 1/4 R, 1/4 D, The remaining are Independent or left "

I Like how he has given himself to a "third party" and made them somewhat viable compared to before he showed up on the scene.

But Nader as a president.......Naw.
O course I have to add that I would take Nader over the last 3 presidents ANYDAY.

John Skerry works for the Nader champagne and he is one of the most sane people on this forum.

I can't think of many reasons to defend big business in this country - but I believe Nader would totally crush the whole system.

We may need reforms - but you don't do surgery with an ax.
