Is it proper to share business info to new manager before on-board?

If the new manager shows his aggressiveness by doing lots of self-studies and requesting early on-board, is it proper that we share important business info to him in advance to help him fit into the organization?

Not unless they sign whatever non-disclosure forms a 'real' manager does. Talk to your HR and/or departments if you have them.
