-Pre-teens suck. All of them girls are catty & unknowledgable about how the world really works. They need a belt across the backside. Or a hammer to the...nevermind. I just don't like little snotty girls.

Talk to that person - find out what the "deal" is.
Maybe they just have a lot of growing up to do, maybe something happened that you don't know about, maybe there are some false rumors floating around.
Talk - coversation - communication.
