We would have 2 elections for president. The 1st election is where you want to vote for the person who you want to be president, the 2nd election consist of the top 2 battling out against eash other. This insures that people would not vote in the 1st election just because the person is the less of 2 evils. This is because the people would know that there would be another election. What do you think???

we would have our usual primary, then the 1st election, then who ever has the most and the one who is in 2nd place will battle it out. This is to prevent people just voting cause they don't the other guy in.

I would prefer to see a one time 6 year term for Presidency and a second election for Vice President.

I think this kind of two-round election system was mainly developed for countries that have more than two political parties. In those places, usually no candidate gets a majority of the vote, so the top two battle it off in a "run-off".

In our two-party system, that kind of thing would be redundant.

I'm a little confused. Isn't that what we already have? Primaries and then 2 consisting of 1 from each party?
