Arizona, all they have is heat. nothing else. Phoenix is safe from most all of these things, weve had about 2 tornados in 5 years. no hurricanes except really small one that come up from the gulf of califonia, these are usually very rare and by the time they reach phx they most likely are not hurricanes anymore. There are no earth quakes and definately no blizzards or tidal waves. We do have a rainy season though in which the thunderstorms can be very violent. But other than temperatures up to 120F, and rarely it can get higher, there is nothing to worry about. Air conditioning is your best friend in Az

First, you dig a really big hole. Then, you line it with concrete and steel beams. Then, you go inside and pull the door closed and don't come out. OK, just kidding. Now, for real:
Are there places that are less likely to have these things? Yes. The desert south west misses out on most of those things. I still saw tornados in West Texas. Phoenix would come pretty close on your list.
No hurricanes, floods, landslides, or tidal waves in Phoenix. Definitely no big blizzards. The only ones left on your list are earthquakes and tornados. I don't think that they have much tectonic instability in Phoenix. They don't get very much rain either. However, I would guess that a summer storm could bring hail or tornados.
Yep. Phoenix. You should go there and then build your storm shelter for when the tornados come.

No. Oklahoma where I live has tornadoes. The gulf coast has hurricanes. The desert has drought. The west coast has earthquakes. Hawaii has volcanoes and typhoons. Alaska has blizzards, flood and earthquakes. The Mississippi valley has floods. Trust Jesus so you can weather the storms of life!

enable's see: Northwest has large climate, yet is liable to earthquakes and volcanoes. pay attention even as Mt. Ranier blows its accurate! Seattle might want to be flattened. very few risky critters there, too. Northeast has few volcanoes and earthquakes, yet powerful iciness storms and extremely short summers. they actually have tiny deer ticks carrying Lyme ailment. alluring position and close to acceptable in case you may take care of the ticks and the lengthy chilly winters. Southeast has hurricanes, South has hurricanes and tornadoes and growing sea stages will inundate Florida, Midwest has tornadoes or perhaps some earthquakes round the hot Madrid fault. The Rocky Mountain section has fewer earthquakes and volcanoes than the west coast, and a lot less tornadoes than the east, in spite of the undeniable fact that it nonetheless has all of them, and it has deadly megafauna which comprise grizzlies, elk, buffalo, and such that may kill human beings, now to not educate very risky iciness storms again. All it really is left are the western slopes of the Appalachians, rather round Pennsylvania and West Virginia. The least tornadoes ensue in West Virginia--in basic terms look on the large hollow of a tornado possibility map. The Appalachians are very previous, so that they don't look very geologically energetic, meaning few earthquakes or volcanoes. very few risky critters--a pair black bears or copperheads, yet not regularly deadly. they have really gentle winters and summers (not as gentle because the Northwest regardless of the reality that). the in basic terms climate difficulty there is occasional flooding, and that is fairly prevented by employing living on a hill. The ticks are more effective than contained in the northeast, so fairly detected and bumped off. fairly, West Virginia is the most info against significant catastrophe. you in basic terms ought to concentrate of a few of the backroads, meth-cooking, gun-toting hillbillies and also you'd be ok.

No no no, Phoenix is a very bad place, very bad, stay away. We already have too many people... :)
Seriously though, I agree with the answers above. A number of years ago there were "funnel clouds" reported, but as far as I know it was never officially decided if they were actualy tonadoes. The rest of those don't happen. I guess an earthquake could, but hasn't since I've been here.

There is no place free of natural disasters (even Antarctica, because it is in perpetual drought [it never rains or snows except on the coasts]). Even Arizona has natural disasters. There are flash floods (although rare) and most scientists would consider drought a natural disaster.
