You are 100% correct and even if there are no "real" race issues its still wrong. While America tried to mend racial divides Survivor highlights them! No you are correct and even though we surely wont see anything racist its still wrong! They will edit any bias or racist comments! Dividing tribes by race highlights racial differences and indifference we wont see it because of editing but its there and its wrong!! I do not plan on watching it. It come son in just a few minutes here and we plan to watch Till Death instead!! We also plan to boycott any products advertising on Survivor. We applaud GM Coca Cola and Home Depot for pulling their ads and not support racism

I think will make for a very interesting season. And if the contestants are OK with it, I don't think it's a big deal. Besides, they're all going to get mixed up eventually, so it will be just like a regular Survivor soon.

I watched it. what is did for me was showed me that no matter what, the white guy takes the heat, always. I could not believe that that Seko guy choose the white guy for exile, and then said it was because of the chicken. The white guy took the chicken form the Asian team. The Asians weren't vengeful about it. They laughed it off. But the african americans were mad that they lost the challenge, so they used that to punish the white tribe. I am glad that the girls got rid of Seko. They were very smart to do that. I think that later in the show they will all be together in one tribe and Seko the racist didn't consider that. What it showed me is that african american women are much smarter than african american men, or at least the stereo typical african american male IE Seko.
Did it set race relations back fifty years? No, I don't think so. I think that any intellegent person that saw it, learned a lot from that episode, especially about perceptions of other races. Besides, KARMA already punished the caucasian tribe, because if you remember, the chickens got loose, so the caucasians didn't really have them anyway.

It's a bad idea and for those who don't understand why it is, don't know history. I wont watch it but I lost interest in survivor a long time ago. Its all about the ratings, period.

It definitely did not. If anything bringing the discussion out into the open is breaking more barriers than it is creating.
