What was the guardians name that guarded the gates of Asgard, and what was his weapon of choice?

i"Heimdal" is the spelling that Marvel used. Traditionally, he was shown with an axe and a horn. He has supernaturally acute sense, and could supposedly perceive anything if he put his mind to it. The problem is, he had to know there was something there to perceive. He couldn't just 'scan'. But he was the guardian of the Rainbow bridge (before it was destroyed) and could summon all the warriors of Asgard to help if Asgard was attacked.

Heimdall guarded the rainbow bridge and had a horn.
