Yes Several options for "ins" at Microsoft, depending on your skillset. Obviously I don't give my contacts unless I know who I am giving them too.. But I do tell folks how to help themselves:

1. Establish a LinkedIn.com profile and learn to use network connections and the jobs listing to help you in any company.

2. Join the free Helping Friends Career Network for Jobs: http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/hf-careernet/

It was built by providing job leads and career support and connecting great people with great companies. The network is linkedin to several Microsoft recruiters and a good number of other leading companies.

3. Submit your resume to http://hfcareernetwork.com for Job Seekers. Recruiters and Corporate Hiring Managers browse resumes in this database for experienced or well networked professionals with excellent Fortune 500 Experience.

Pearson isn't here right now. You could try using an MSN site for starters. LOL.

Work for M$'s competition, and wait for the phone call. Then sell your soul.

Actually, M$, like most software companies, are in a downsizing mode, and have been for the past few years. You might want to look for a contractor who does work for M$, and hope that someone notices you.
