Here's a bit about Bowie's eyes from a fan site:

Bowie was born with blueish eyes. In 1962, he got into a fight with his longtime school friend George Underwood (over George's girlfriend), and a punch from Underwood damaged Bowie's left eye. His pupil was paralyzed, becoming unable to dilate or contract according to the ambient light.

As a result, Bowie's left eye now appears to be a different colour to his right eye, appearing either brown or green depending on the ambient light. http://www.teenagewildlife.com/cgi-sys/cgiwrap/torrie/fom.cgi?_recurse=1&file=9

NO.
His left pupil is permanently dilated after a school-yard fight during his youth, making his left eye look darker.

here's a good close-up of his eyes:

I don't believe so. He was injured in a fight over a girl, and one eye is permanently dialated...not a different color. Some people DO have that. I knew a girl with one brown and one green eye, but in his case...no.
