Well, let's see---The USA occupied Japan & Germany for decades after WW 2, they are still not a "state within the United States of America". Of course, there was no oil to speak of, but I think you are sadly mistaken about everything in your comments anyway. I do not know why I am answering this question, as you are hard headed as granite with a mile between your ears with no substance there.

How exactly will the land of Iraq be picked up and moved to within the United States? And then exactly which states do you plan to move in order to make room for Iraq?

When hell freezes over! They aren't going to go quietly into American (or infidel) occupation. They will only become a state in the USA after you kill everyone of them and everyone in all neighboring countries. Those people are nuts and war and suffering is the only thing they have ever known! So how do you defeat a people like that. (short of nuclear warfare)

I take it you didn't see or are even aware that the President of Iraq and the President of Iran are meeting, shaking hands and Iran has promised to send Security Forces to Iraq? Isn't that quaint.

If the US really wanted to take over, they would simply kill everyone in Iraq and get the oil pumped by Mexicans.
(I figured if you ask a silly question...)
