I've heard of someone in another country doing this (majoring in Zoology and Botany), but I'd like to find out if it's possible here!

yes it is. I have a BS in biology with an emphasis in wildlife biology which were all technically Zoo classes. Just don't expect the job market to be there until you have a MS or PhD.

I've heard of a bachelor's of science with a major in Biology. The only time I've heard of zoololgy or botany is as an emphasis in grad school though.

many of the core classes for those majors are the same and differ only when you get to upper division. Once you get lower division done it is just a matter of taking the right upper division classes to fulfill both of those majors.

Yes, its possible. Just find a school that has both majors.

Sure, any university or college will give you a BS degree in those subjects.
