How do you go about getting a president removed from office?

I live in a very conservative island in California. The locals are mostly religious nuts and actually think Armeggedon(sp) is a good thing.
Our politicians are for the most part New World Order Right Column types and don't listen to the individuals.
Is there a petition or something we can start to remove this pinhead before the U.N. starts placing sanctions against the U.S.?

You obviously didn't stay awake in Government class. You obviously are too young to remember Watergate.

The House has to start the process, and they have to vote on Article of Impeachment. Should that come to a vote the Pres is "Impeached". Shoudl the House vote in favor of those articles (as they did with Clinton) then the Senate has to vote to remove the President.

This was tried on Clinton when he committed perjury, and it didn't happen. It was tried on Nixon after Watergate, and he resigned before the House voted on the measure. Andrew Johnson (after the Civil War, you know, the one between the North and South?) avoided being removed by 1 vote. So, it's never been done.

The UN sucks. If they want the power to do anything then they must be willing to stand behind their threats. You'll learn that too if you take Government class.

You get an opportunity to change your President every four years.

Sanctions against the United States? The United States should kick the U.N. out of this country and have them set up their ridiculous shop in Belgium or France. I think the United States has played host to the U.N. long enough. If the U.N. would enforce a resolution once in a while, the United States would not have to play world police.

The first great thing about our country is that there are high quality young people who are not afraid to put their lives on the line so that you can say anything you want. The second great thing is that you can vote for someone new every four years. Even if you hate the guy that everyone else voted for, you are still allowed to live free and say what you want.

The only recourse is to get elected officials that are not afraid to speak their mind and not follow the sheep in America,that must be told what to do and can not think for themselves, hence the only truth they know is what is told to them by someone who is supposed to be on the right side such as our president that is now admitting the causes for the war were not true, and get the president impeached just like Richard Nixon was. That is the only way to get one out of office.

first of all bush is in his second term which means that he can not be re elected, secondly there is about three years left in that term and I promise you that it will take just about that long to do it. Lastly the process is called impeachment.
