The only place to buy a wide range of guaranteed-legal, major label material for an iPod is iTunes. The various Russian MP3 sites such as http://www.allofmp3.com/ are much cheaper (from 2c/MB, 99c/Album) but are a legal grey area. Emusic (http://www.emusic.com/) is legal and fairly cheap at $10 per month for up to 40 tracks (=25c each), but only if you like music from one of the 8,500 smaller record labels, rather than the 5 that dominate the charts.

the main inexpensive place for track everywhere is walmart at $0.88 in step with track. despite if, that calls which you would be able to then go and convert them to be itunes compatible. They do paintings at the same time, it basically take some tinkering with. despite if, the simplest is iTunes because it doesnt % any transfering and you're immideatly waiting to hearken to you track. do no longer use limewire, as in case you get caught utilising it, you will get sued by utilising the writer. somebody around the place I stay have been given fined $a million,500 in step with track, and he or she had approximately one hundred songs from their.

I rip cd's into mp3 format at 320k... this gives awesome sound, then add the folder of the album into the itunes library (or just use Itunes to rip the disc), if you only like one song from a band.. just fork up the .99 cents and enjoy. The .99 cent song has less sound quality (to me) but it depends on where your priorities lie.

iTunes may cost more but it's the best. iTunes music was made to play the best with ipods. I would just go there. You get the best quality music.

Hey I have been getting my music lately from allofmp3.com you can get entire albums for $2.00 or less. It is a Russian site so I use a visa gift card to purchase credits to be safe. Quality is great and you can download 2-4 songs at a time, then import the files to your Itunes to get them to your Nano. Be sure to note your file names so you can remember what is what.
