It's a problem i run into all the time: i don't have any desire to hide my freckles, I like them! But, there's no makeup that can completley cover them up, so if i wear makeup to cover a blemish, it erases some of the freckles halfway, making it look like i have blotchy skin, or like i just did a bad job hiding my freckles.
I don't want to hide them, but are there any tricks for how i can cover my blemishes but keep my freckles looking fresh and natural?
thanks!

I am a an Irish babe and I also love my freckles! You need to use a coverup to hide the blemishes and not the whole face, I recommend EverFresh by Maybelline it feels light, but does the job of covering up the blemishes. Apply it after your foundation and then apply your powder. Bam! Your beautiful!!

Well, I dont have freckles but I think I have a few suggestions for you.
You could use a moisturizer foundation that is almost sheer. That would give your skin a more even tone but wont look like you are trying to cover up anything. And then, if you have a blemish, you could use a blemish cover stick that comes close to your natural tone and be careful to only cover up the blemish and not a huge circle around it.
Secondly, you could go without foundation if you have generally great skin, and put a little bit of coverup on any blemishes you have.
I suggest very transparent makeup. It does exist. I love Avons moisturizing foundation but its not a great seller for them. I think they moved it to the teen line.
Good luck and I hope this helps.

Just dot concealer over your blemishes. Since you like your freckles so much (and I have to admit, I'm a bit jealous. I wish I had some) you should use a light mineral powder for the rest of your face. I know I sound like an infomercial, but I really do like the Bare Minerals collection. You don't have to order on tv, they sell it at Sephora now. It covers, without covering everything. I have a small "beauty mark" on my face that I love and I use Bare Minerals, and it covers my blemishes, without erasing my "beauty mark". So I think that it'll work for you too.

If you are pale w/ freckles like me, then you can try what I've finally found and have been using for years now - looks very natural but covers blemishes:
First moisterizer, then use this foundation, but just pat on lightly with your fingertip on blemishes only. Foundation is Revlon new complexion makeup in ivory beige. Then finish with Cover Girl Simply Powder in creamy natural.

Try a mineral foundation, like Everyday Minerals. You can get a free m/up kit, just pay s&h. Then you can see how it works on you. But I think that would give you a natural look with your freckles.

Get an acne cover pencil in green (Physician's Formula has them).
The green counteracts the red and you can put it only on the pimple itself.
You can use a very lightweight powder all over your face to "set" it and get some natural foundation.
