All Playstation games are playable on the new PS3. This includes Playstation I and II.

yes every single playstation and PS2 games will be playable and it can also connect with the PSP but I still think it cost to much money and they dont have any really good games coming out for it so i think it is going to suck.

Go for Xbox 360 or Nintendo Wii!
