Age IS NOT the first reason that hair turns gray.
Hair turns gray because of GENETICS, in that genes regulate the exhaustion of the pigments potential of each individual hair follicle. This occurs at different rates in different hair follicles. The stages of GRAYING are:
*First Genetics, *Second Hormones, *Third Body Distribution, and *Last Is Age.
As the body ages a lighter hair color looks more natural. It doesn't have to be Silver, but let me assure you that "Jet Black" does not work. An important reason is that the color is too dark for the older complexion.

I think he looks fine. Some people choose to let themselves age and embrace every grey hair and wrinkle. There's nothing wrong with that. There's an old woman I know that has let her hair grey and eventually whiten and, honestly, I think her hair is beautiful. Besides, if he dyed his hair jet black, it would look very unnatural.

Because everyone would know that he'd dye it and they'd jump all over him. Sometimes I feel sorry for him, because he doesn't seem to be able to do anything right.
