I think its how you stare at it. I think if stare at a word long enough, it gives many reasons on how you feel
Or maybe your eyes just overworked and focused enough about it thats why you feel strange! ^_^

I had a problem with "Property" today. It's freaky when words all the sudden don't look right. I spell-checked it three times.

If I look at anything long enough it looks strange.
I seem to have a problem with the word "they".
for some reason I keep wanting to spell it "thay".
It's embarrassing.(You won't tell anyone,will you?!)
