people are animals (literally). Just because we're "intelligent" animals, it doesnt take away from the fact that we act and behave for our own self preservation and self interests which at time lead to violence.
most people make the mistake of picturing humans above other things (example -- humanizing our pets behaviour). we're not -- the end result of our behavior could be our own demise. it's happened before with other species and will happen to us, there's no doubt about that and there's NOTHING that we can do about it.
just remember something -- if the world didnt warm up, there would be no life on the planet at all. if the ice age didnt end or if the mini ice age in the middle of the last millenium didnt end the human race would be a fraction of what it is now -- and human behavior had NOTHING to do with it.

We are the dominant species of this planet and therefore we have to prove our ways of thinking to some ppl even if it means getting violent. this is a bad thing to do and violence should be unacepptable. nowadays everything is controlled by paper and if it means going to war or taking up arms have to be done by paper. people don't realise that our ancestors didnt need all this crap and all they had to do was hold a meeting. today with all this technology it easy for us to speak to sme1 on the other side of the planet. we don't know of any life forms besides the human race. but let me tell you what my theory of the plantes history is. when you sow a seed you check on it everyday to see its progress. in the same way Aliens or ET as we may call them probably had earth as on of their experiments and they check on us from time to time thus explaining some of the UFO sightings. i feel they don't want to make contact with us for the fear that we wouldn't be able to deal with our real creator.

Because we breed like roaches and cannot sustain ourselves. Increase birth control, lower populations, sterilize and remove breeding centered religious beliefs. Peace on Earth. All conflict results from a finite amount of resources. If you truly care about this limit yourself to no more than two children.

Does that mean you believe in little green men. There is good and bad in all humans, daily stress, daily life itself makes us forget sometimes that we all depend on each other in a form or other.
Don't let the news get you down too much they would rather report bad news then good news, sells more papers, we are creatures of habit and old habits die hard.
Maybe your generation will be better at it then ours was.

The human race is violent because they rebelled against the divine design God gave them when He created them. Their free will, which God will not stifle, tends toward complete selfishness. Selfishness and its associates, greed and envy, will always do whatever it takes to meet their desires, including hurting and/or destroying others. Until they are redeemed by God through the salvation provided by Jesus Christ, receive the indwelling of the Spirit of God, by Whom their consciences are restored, they will always choose self over the well-being of others.
