I need these answers really fast!!!!!! Like in ten or twenty min.!!!!! Help!!!

Depending on how you look at it, Ilinois (and the entire US) is in both the Northern and Western Hemispheres.

But seeing as how you need to know what's south of that, I would say that Illinois in the Northern Hemisphere and the hemisphere below it would be the Southern Hemisphere.

All of the US, Canada, Mexico, Central American is in the Northern hemisphere, The equator (the center line (north and south) crosses upper south American. It passes through Ecuador. Below the equator (to the south) is all the southern hemisphere.

There are two hemispheres, the northern hemisphere and the southern hemisphere. I let you take a guess which one Illinois is in....;-)

I think the confusion is from Chicago politicians - they are from another planet, not another hemisphere.
