It's not necessary and I don't need the hassle of unwanted contact with strangers! Just wait until you run into an anti-Canadian that likes to harass you by IM or e-mail! I know!
If they have something to say, they can ask a question or answer one of mine. There's also the comments section! I can show you how someone can harass you even without contact info!

I've noticed that a lot of them are the same people who like to get really nasty with their answers sometimes... They don't want consequences... A few others may be extremely busy or have other reasons as not all who won't communicate are mean; I've wanted to ask further questions on good answers a few times and couldn't... But mostly it's the jerks...
