There are 2 questions,
A = bb where b =3 and
A = bb where b = 7
so when b = 3, A= 9 and

Err... something wrong to the question. If you get the question from the book, you may think of changing your book. If the question post out by a teacher, you may consider to teach your teacher back.... hihihihi... simply because..
In a logical expression whereby a if there is a DEFINITE value attached to the valuable says 'b' in this case, they won't be a repeated different value over the same valuable 'b' in the same equation.
In short, you are boy.. and simply you are a boy to this world and universe, and you won't change to girl. Even if you are going for surgery or bio change, i will say you are still a boy no matter how coz, your base is a boy. You posses genetic XY in your gynes.

sounds simple at first, but not really so much. this question is actually pretty tricky inless you don't think anything about it. the answer is NOT twenty one. since b can equal two things, and you don't know which it is, there are a variety of answers, 21 being just one of them. all the answers that are possible are 9, 21, and 49.
Or... if you are doing homework, probably ask your teacher, but in that case, it would be just 9 or 49.

Usually in one expression, the same variable will have the same value, so I would say either A=9 or A=49. It does not make algebraic sense for the same variable to have two different values within the same expression.
