I went to buy some khaki pants today and they looked pretty nice and dressy, but at the last minute I saw there were holes in them and the salesperson said they're supposed to have holes in them...wtf? I looked around and other khaki pants had rips and frayed hems! I thought only jeans were made this way!

rips/frayed hems/stiched looking patches are all "in" right now...Trust American fashion designers to charge extra bucks for something that's already ruined...Go figure...

Did the salesperson also say he had a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn? Even if this IS the newest and greatest thing, I would just walk away - I would love to see a fashion house fall the way movie studios are falling because they insist on shoving crap down everyone's throats.

Why spend money on that? I can do it myself at home! I was going to throw away my favorite jeans a few months ago and someone told me that was the style, so I kept them and I wear them out again now.
