I did google and ask and all I could find was that there have been so few accidents after the lighthouse was built

I bet you the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, that wonderful volunteer lifesaving group you Brits have, would know....here's their home page; find the station closest to Bell Rock Dundee and query them.

Bell Rock.. wasn't that the granite lighthouse that Stevenson had a lot to do with building? If it is that one I imagine it would be very difficult to find exact numbers as I would think that accurate records were never kept.
