I totally hate my eyes. I think they look like muddy greenish water. I was thinking of getting colored contacts. Do you think they're tacky?

Yeah, hate them...hate them. People should never get complimented for eye color if it isn't natural. I think fake anything is totally wrong.
Wouldn't you feel bad if a guy said you had nice eyes and they weren't even your natural color?

I don't think they're 'tacky' I think they're AWESOME! It's basically the same as getting your hair dyed, or your skinned tanned... If it looked bad to do it, why was it invented? A guy at my school recently got red contacts which look killer! they're awesome, but also a friend of mine who actually has naturally really pretty green eyes has blue cnotacts and they look totally natural but awesome! So give 'em a go if you like!

Yes, they are definitely tacky. I know this girl who has brown eyes and wears green contacts and you can always see a circle of green around the actual iris part. It looks so bad.

I used to wear them. Both types from Acuvue until they started to drift into my eyes, then all I could see was through the color of the contacts. Get a trial pair to see if you like them or not. Things may be different for you!

They are just fine I have green eyes too and I had some green contacts and they just intensified the color for me and it looked really cool.

No!! I think it's cool and interesting and gives you a whole different look. Its changes your looks so you can experiment edgier and more funky styles. I lespecially love gray contacts.

It depends on the person really. Sometimes they look really good on ppl, and sometimes they look tacky... my advice, try em out... see what they look like... if you dont like them, dont buy them... so ask for a trial pair

No way.. unless you get like purple and then it would be REALLY weird... people would be like WHAT IN THE ?? lol hehehe i think like a cool greenish color.... or like a cool blue color.. hmmm cool ! maybe i will get myself some....
