If we start at 8:00 in an hour we'll have

9:01 and 8:59
10:02 and 9:58 right?

After a total of 60 hours, the correct time will be 8:00 (but the clocks will show 9:00 and 7:00. right? Leave aside the 24 hour nature of a clock, just imagine the twelve-hour analog clock. Remember, we gain or lose an minute every hour, after 60 hours, we have gained or lost an entire hour.

60 more hours gets us 10:00 and 6:00, right - gained and lost another hour.

So after 360 hours, total, the fast clock has gained 360 minutes, or six hours. 6 hours after 8:00 is 2:00.

The slow clock has lost 360 minutes after 360 hours, and it will show 2:00. It has to be two o'clock, since that is equidistant from 8:00, whether you lose time or gain time.

A clock measures 12 hours before it repeats again. There are 60 minutes in each hour so 12 hours = 360 minutes ( 12 * 60 ).

The clocks will read the same in 180 hours. in 180 hours, the first clock will have moved forward 180 minutes which is the same as 6 hours. The 2nd clock will move back 180 minutes or 6 hours in the same amount of time. They will both read 2:00 at the same time.
