Why "YES"! Yes, it should.

It doesn't make sense to attempt to legislate something which grows naturally.

Why should an organic substance be illegal?

There are plants which are lethal if consumed, which are not illegal.

I think if its legal to smoke cigarettes and drink alcohol, then why not legalize weed. Cigarettes kill a lot of people. Its one of the most deadly and dangerous things known to man. I think weed should have the same rules of laws as alcohol. You have to be 21 to smoke it and can't be under the influence while driving.

when people drink, they get angry and outrageous. they get drunk and hit their wives or do something stupid and act a fool.

when people smoke weed they get mellow chill or whatever. you never heard about someone getting high and hitting their spouse (unless they took three hits; puff puff pass *****!) weed is a mellow drug. makes you calm and laugh!!! or eat!!! i think the fast food market would skyrocket if weed were made legal. its legal in amsterdam and their crime rate is half of what ours is.

check out the Friday movies, or Harold and Kumar go to WhiteCastle. Great movies to educate you on what fun weed can really be.

I don't know enough to support legalization of recreational use. I am in favor of medicinal marijuana use. I think it is unconscionable for some people to live in as much pain and suffering as they do and not be able to ease it using a (relatively) cheap, natural product. If you were a chemo patient (or whatever), would you care about a few brain cells or would you want to be able to keep food down?

It should not be legalized because smoking weed will make worse to your healthy such as lung disease. If it will be legalized it should be limited to certain consumers and be taxed.

I say yes and tax the crap out of it, this in turn will free up needed space in prisons from dope dealers

It should be just as legal as tobacco and alcohol, and the manufacturers should pay taxes and be subject to the lawsuits involving what smoking their product does to people's lungs.

May as well. Being illegal don't seem to slow it down and the government could use the tax from it to buy a new tank or something.
