The most beautiful part about Romania is the people. You want to see the most real people in Romania......? Go to the village, find a Romania who has family in a village, and have them take you with them. Stay, eat the food, watch (and help) how hard they work for what they have, and grow or raise most of what they eat. See their resilence and how they embrace the simple things. The most beautiful city in Romania..... all of the very tiny ones.

Bucuresti is the largest city, by far.
For charming smaller cities go to Brasov (on your way also visit Sinaia - Peles castle, Bran castle, Rasnov) , then Sibiu, Sighisoara.
