You mean the Geneva convention doesn't require us to wear uniforms and we can use mosques and churches as fortresses and mix in with the civilians?! Cool. That will make it much easier for our troops.
Let's condemn Roosevelt while we're at it. He shot out-of-uniform enemy operatives as if they were spies, when I guess he should have given them over to the ACLU to attend civil court...
You have mistaken the people who are actually trying to re-write the Geneva Convention.
As for McCain's experience, he was captured by our usual enemy who ignores the convention. And he, like Murtha, were both really great people who did their service for the country in the past. But now, they're both politicians.
A simple Yahoo search will give you plenty of material on the various Geneva Conventions. Remember that neither the Imperial Japanese, the North Koreans, the Chinese, the North Vietnamese or Islamo-facists have abided by any of these conditions at any time.
As a taxpayer, I feel no guilt for having given over my tax dollars to provide Korans and prayer rugs to people who want to saw off your head and mine.

What you fail to recognize is that it's McCain who is playing politics! You do recognize gray area don't you. Well, when liberals in this country call what happened at Abu Graib "torture" when it was immature pranks then you have PARTISAN POLITICS.
Liberals stabbed Leiberman in the back. Leiberman is a patriot, not traitorous like the radical left is. WHY AREN'T YOU CRITICIZING THE TERRORISTS INSTEAD? Kidnapping innocent civilians, torturing them and cutting off their heads. Why don't you go up to them to find a diplomatic solution?

Yup. I'm not saying the Democrats are angels, mind you — but the Republicans are ridiculous.
To them, there is no such thing as an opinion — you are supposed to take everything a Republican says as the truth, and so if you agree with him, you are a liar, anti-American, and therefore the enemy.
