I can tell whatever is squeaking is associated with the rotation of the tire. It squeaks in rhythm according to how fast I'm going... so at about 30 mph it sounds like theres a cricket chirping in my wheel well. I thought it was the wheel bearings but I have been told more than once the wheel bearing would make a grinding noise, not a chirp, if it was going bad. I took the tire off and there are no visible problems.
This is a 93 ford T-bird if that helps.

Most of the time it's your brake system that squeaks. If you looked at the pad and didn't see alot of wear then you didn't see the inboard pad that usually wears uneven due to brake dust and caliper bolts sticking take another look it's most likely your brake pads. They do have squeal indicators on them also usually on the inboard pad!

possibly the backing plate in the back of the rotor is rubbing on the rotor. they did,nt attempt very no longer common getting the axle nut off. I incredibly have under no circumstances had to cut back the axle and that i replaced quite a few axles and bearings. i wager they have been turning the incorrect way on the nut.

get your brakes checked there are metal clips once they get so close to the rotor they make a noise like that alot of places do free brake checks if you are not sure what to look for...
