repetitive suggestions do-but they must be understood and picked up by the brain to work, and they cannot go against your own moral convictions, usually-as in hypnosis. But changing ones CONCEPT of belief is possible by brain-washing, which is also done by repetition. But this also must be done by cognitive recognition. (The brains understanding of the message conveyed)

Subliminal messages have proved to work in a lab setting. However, in the real world, subliminal messages do not work. It worked in a lab because you can control everything from the temperature, amount of exposure, and other variables. In the real world, it is impossible to control anything. So yes, they have been proven to work in labs, but no, they do not work in the real world.

Oh heck NO!
At least not on me.
There are people out there that for some reason have to buy and wear the same shoes, shirts, pants etc.. as supposed "Stars" in the media. I don't know for sure if it comes from subliminal messages or if these people are just stupid followers of the latest trend.

They work big time, but because they are subliminal you are not aware of it.
Listen to the two tapes below on mind control.
It includes a section on the use of subliminals

Yes. They used to use them in advertising and now everyone over 50 who goes to the movies has a craving for popcorn.

The government passed laws in the late 50s outlawing movie theaters that were using this to promote sales of their candy and refreshments sales... it obviously does cause an influence on the subconsciousness of individuals.

Sure it works in advertising. Have one relative that likes them, but would not invest great deal of money. You might try your local library and see if they have some, which you could try before buying.

It works to get the message to your brain. Whether it provokes you to act. You would have to do a study.Depends on the situation and the interpreter.
