For some quirky stuff to add to the tape (in addition to Center Field which has been mentioned several times) check out a guy named Dave Frishberg. He has at least two songs that I can think of that are great--one called Dodger Blue and another called Van Lingle Mungo that names a whole bunch of great old time ball players. Bruce Springsteen also has a song called Glory Days that talks about a guy still living in his high school baseball glory. And there's a song that goes "...I'm talkin' baseball..." and I'm not sure who did it or what the song is called...anyone? (Is it Michael Franks?)

Talkin' Baseball by ability of Terry Cashman is unquestionably solid. He has one popular song with regard to the previous significant Leagues the place he talks a pair of bunch of previous gamers and the refrain is going: Talkin baseball, Mickey and the Duke (Say hi, Say hi, Say hi) He additionally has a song approximately each and each significant League group with the comparable rhythm and stuff its quite cool.

Any baseball CD would be lost if it didn't have "Take Me Out To The Ball Game" sung by Harry Caray...seems it was a the mainstay for the Chicago Cubs...like forever.

You might want to go to each team's website (you can link from MLB.com) - I think some will list the songs that get played for particular players. I'm pretty sure the Colo. Rockies do that.
I really can't remember particular songs - except for one... "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. I think Larry Walker used to have that one play when he was with the Rockies.
