That depends. Taxi drivers, Limo drivers, delivery drivers and above all; truck drivers amongst others must have a Commercial Drivers License. Truck drivers can and do make up to 100K per year.

I think the average driver makes about 30-50 thousand a year but some can and do make much more than that just make sure you dont get a DUI because then there goes your job

If you're willing to work and travel over the road you can make 50 to 60 thousand a year. If you drive local it'll be around 30 to 40 thousand a year.

Long distance drivers I've talked to said they don't make much considering the amount of hours they are away from home/on the road. Which is just like being on the job.

Depends on what type of CDL you have, what type of driving your doing, local or OTR, local, probably around 30k to 45k, OTR, would be 40k up to perhaps 80k
