Hold it 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes each. The snake will get used to you. My snake was like that too. Now I can pick her up without her trying to eat my hand. At first I had to dive in and snatch her up before she had enough inner brain workings to figure out what I was doing. I jerk my arm back when she strikes, even though it doesn't hurt. Now I can clean around her cage and everything. If that doesn't work, you can wear an *unneeded* shirt for 24 hours and then place it in the viv. The snake will want to crawl in the new interesting hide and then it will get used to your smell.

You just gotta suck it up & contonue to handle the snake daily, unless it's shedding or has just been fed. The snake will eventually calm down. Just avoid rough handling & sit down & place the snake in your lap rather than let it dangle 3ft. off the floor from your hand. It adds to the snakes feeling of security.

if you wear rubber gloves when you pick it up and the snake bites you, it will get a bad taste in its mouth and eventually stop, jsut handle it once a day and it will relax more in your hands
