yahoo has gotten slow it won't load I can't check my mail or get on answers,but sometimes it works just fine its not my pc becouse I can tell it to go somewere else an its no problem.WHATS UP WITH YAHOO?

I haven't had this problem, but I wonder if there are problems with the servers that affect some geographical errors.

Yahoo is my home page too and when my computer did that I found out I had a virus. You should check into that. Once I got it fixed I had no more problems.

could be many things....stuff like that is hard to figure out. If your provider uses a proxy server then that could be it.
after that could be a virus/dos attack that brings up another site in the background before yahoo comes up. (they do this to overload another site or drive traffic to a site to make money per page view)

it's been really slow for me too, especially when i sign in to check my email or sign into yahoo answers. so it's not just you. also, pictures on yahoo take a ridiculously long time to load for me too.

you could have a browser hijacker. That might mess with your settings. A good program for that is hijack this. Be careful using it though as you need to pay attention to what you are removing.

it could be that the servers are extremely busy at certain times of the day or night. Reboot your computer. sometimes that helps.

you can re-set it back to yahoo. sometimes it does that. its not yahoo.open a webpage go to tools and click on internet option then type in www.yahoo.com click apply and ok. that will set it back
