based on the semi-classic book of the same name? Who thinks he will surely get the Louisiana accent down just right?

Yes. You have a good point. You would think he'd have to gain a LOT of weight, wouldn't you? So much for realism. Which leads to another question... How difficult should it be to suspend your disbelief when watching a movie that is essentially a loose biography?

I look forward to the movie. Mr. Penn, a great actor, will have to go thru some dramatic physical changes to portray Huey, and if he does, the more credit to him. I admire him as as actor, and I hope he tries to send an accurate portayal of the "Kingfish", and not try to politicticize the the real story.
