Ummm... how about getting married first?
You owe it to this future child to have a stable home life. Eighteen is too young to be a mom. You may have a good job, but how are you going to work with a child? Put the child in daycare all day? That's not cheap.
Think it through. Wait a few years. A child changes your life forever, and you can never get your youth and freedom back.

You are only 18, if you do fall preg. your gonna fall off the face of the earth cause the rest of your friends will going out, going to school and parties and you will be home with baby, don't fall pregnant now, you have 15 years to have that fall, Keep standing up and for the sake of the baby live your life first cause after kids you have no life!!!

Me and my boyfriend were together 3 years and living on our own when I became pregnant. Some people might think its gross but I put the positive pregnancy test stick into a ziploc sandwich bag and when I seen my mom I handed it to her. she said "so soes this mean I am going to be a grandma?" and i said yes and I think she was shocked but as soon as she got to work she was telling EVERYBODY

Please, please do not plan to get pregnant at this age!! Having a child is a life time commitment with or without a partner and even harder without a partner. Trust me, live your life before you get married and are in the family way. Don't get pregnant just to have someone to love and someone who will love you because it does not always work out that way. THINK smart!!

First of all you dont "fall pregnant" you get pregnant. Just tell them straight up that your pregnant and if your set on having this baby you cant be convinced plus your 18 your a legal adult...

You could go for scare tactics and mail each of them a card saying they will be a grandma/grandpa! hehe.
Really, don't feel like you have to defend yourself. If you feel that it is the right time, then go for it! I have been wanting to have children since your age (I am almost 23) but I am waiting until I am out of college (graduating Spring 07 with my Bachelors).
If your aspiration is to be a mother and you are close to your mom then just have a conversation with her. I don't know how close you are with your dad but you could always go talk to him as well.
Good luck!

you know you should tell them now. its the best thing to do. it will give them time to get use to the fact and you might be suprised how excited they actually are.
if you have a good relationship with ur ma then why keep this from her. if they try and convince you not to then you really need to state you case why you want to.
goodluck

If you're old enough to have a baby, then you're old enough to be able to tell your parents. Just tell them. If they get mad, they get mad. They'll figure it out sooner or later anyway. Unless, they're supporting you, then it doesn't matter what they think, you're an adult now. However, I would say that if you're that afraid of telling them, then you may not be ready to become a mother just yet.

When you fall pregnant?
Use precautions, there is nothing worse than an unwanted pregnancy, and besides you are so young so please, don't throw your life away. Want to have sex? Make him wear a condom, if he gives you grief, then you use some sort of birth control.
Godspeed.
