equal Republicanism or NEOCONS.

How can a sane and credible individual follow the strictures of Religion. Seems to me it is no different to Islamic fundamentalism.

Although neo cons on here like will try to convince you otherwise, there is no difference between christian and Islamic fundamentalist. They want control of you period. They are extremist, and need to be voted out of office.

The Bible says, "Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits." Being a Republican does not make someone a Christian. Being conservative does not make Republicans Christians. Nor does a public claim to the word Christian, i.e. Pat Robertson's Coalition, signify anything truly believable.

The things that make anyone truly Christian include:

*Their internal faith in Jesus Christ
*Loving their neighbors as themselves
*Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, caring for the sick, etc.
*Praying for those generally in need

Unfortunately there are Christians who will massage and cherry-pick certain verses of the Bible they like the most and use them to make a point or advance a political agenda, more often than not a conservative Republican political agenda. (I don't believe that cults are political, just sick.) If someone like this crosses your path, know that a lot of fundamentalists don't bother to read the Bible before they quote it.

For one thing, christian fundamentalists are not the average Christians. Also, Any form of christianity does not promote jihad or religious murder as the Islamic fundamentalists do according to their own book of law, the Koran.

Christian fundamentalism is the work of Satan.

The neocons and many republicans worship Satan - they may not realize that they are worshipping Satan but Satan fools people into thinking that they worship Christ while in reality - they worship sin.

It is no different. They believe everyone who doesn't believe their faith is going to hell. Actually it's weird. The Muslims in my life have always been more liberal minded than the conservative Christian denominations like Baptists. Everything is fire and brimstone to them.
