Alley Cat..........would rather see the world around me and all of it's good and bad than a sheltered lifestyle dependant on someone else.

Altho an alley cat might have the freedom to roam and be without any restraints - they are also likely to be neverending potential prey ..... other cats, dogs and cyotes....plus additional dangers are always to be leary of.
They never get to experience the joy of a place or people to call their own.

House Dog - has it made. Never have to worry about being uncomfortable temperature wise or without some form of company - whether other pets or people.
Being fed, cared for and pampered(as most are) - how burdensome! LOL
Not to mention - no matter how much attention your people may give you - you always love them. In many cases is returned.
Biggest inconvenience - trying to figure out where to take next nap.

In this case - think the dogs have it!

I'd be an alley cat cuz they run hecka fast and jump really high. also, cats have retractable claws, which is good for self defense
