Everything else seems to be OK. Water temp. is 190. Fans all work. Just no heat at all. Anybody got any ideas?

All of the above, but one other thing; Make sure the coolant is circulating.

Hint: Check to make sure the water pump is circulating the coolant.

You could have a vacuum problem (air control doors work on vacuum!), -You might just have a broken vacuum hose, - or maybe it has just come off fitting. Characteristics would be light hissing noise -probably behind engine (near firewall). Also the engine might run a little diferently, as air bleeding in after injection manifold(or carbureter) will thin down fuel mix, and make engine idle badly. These "cheap" hoses they use nowdays like to split where they hook on, just go back about 1 inch cut hose off(beyond split) and hook back up - if there is enough hose!

Also there is an occasional "airlock" in hose to heater, - if water level down (or has been down in near past). See if hose going into heater box is hot -(when engine hot), then check other side and see if it is hot too. It doesn't matter which is which, - so long as both are hot! Since water will heat both sides if it is circulating through heater core!

Now if one side is hot, and the other side is not, you have a lack of water flow,- a plugged heater core will also not flow water, so now you have to chose which way you want to go! Most of the newer cars don't have an actual "shutoff" valve for the water, - they just close a door over the heater core, - so that air can't go through. If there is a water shutoff, -that is operated by vacuum too, Check on both sides of that valve, if water not flowing through, the valve might be bad, vacuum being lost before it gets there, or control inside car is bad.

heater core is plugged up. You need to back flush the unit. GM along with other manufacturers are having problems with sludge build up in there heater cores.
Also some models have a flow restrictor in the heater hose line. make sure to check that and clear that out or replace the hose

as others will say, you might have a plugged heater core or an air bubble in the cooling system.

open the valve in the rubber hose, its the off and on valve for the heater, the vacuum may not be working under the hood for this item,or thr valve might be broken,by pass and check then

maybe your heater core is clogged or one of the vacuum lines that controls the air vents is broken.
