Your GPA looks great (is your unweighted GPA a LOT lower?).
Like a previous poster mentioned, your SAT 1's are very mediocre for UCLA standards (a school that probably leads the country in applications... and in a state which has the largest number of super high GPA/SAT applicants in the country). But if you have a really solid extracurricular record, you never know.
IF you get rejected to UCLA, consider the transfer route. You could attend a slightly lesser ranked school like UC Davis/Santa Barbara/Irvine for a year... absolutely kick butt there... and transfer to UCLA or Berkeley for the following year (maybe even for THAT spring semester). Its a lot easier to transfer if you do well in college. And especially to transfer within the UC system. Great grades in a college environment is GOLD on a transfer application.
Good luck!

Probably not (your SAT I is too low), but your French is excellent. However, your bio and history are too low for top schools. You are right around average, which isn't bad, but it's not UCLA material.
From the UCLA website:
"For fall 2005, the average admitted domestic freshman presented the following characteristics:
* 4.25 GPA (weighted).
* 1,345 on the SAT I.
* 674 on the SAT II writing.
* 688 on the SAT II math tests.
* 19 honors/AP/IB/CL courses."
Keep in mind that this was with the old SATs, so using their formula it is a 2019 on your new SAT.
Sorry! A lot of schools offer better education than schools like UCLA. Look for a liberal arts school and you will get an excellent education and be ready for a great job or top grad school.
Good Luck!

Those scores dont look too high to me. How come you have a sky-high GPA and mediocre SAT scores? did you have a bad day? Maybe you should take that test again. I think the average for all kids who took the three SAT Is was about 1560. So 1600 is just average. I saw a talk from a Princeton admissions counselor last summer and the SAT I average at Princeton was over 2200.
You can find out the average SAT scores for kids at just about any school by checking the admissions section of the university website. They almost always have a section that lists the stats for the most recently admitted class.

i hope this helps
UCLA is among the most selective universities in the nation. Currently, UCLA receives over 42,000 freshman applications and admits approximately one of every four applicants for its freshman class. Approximately 88% of these applicants meet or exceed minimum UC eligibility, graduating in the top 12.5% statewide and/or in the top 4% of their high schools.
For fall 2005, the average admitted domestic freshman presented the following characteristics:
4.25 GPA (weighted).
1,345 on the SAT I.
674 on the SAT II writing.
688 on the SAT II math tests.
