World wide use of the term "Central America" does not often includes Mexico. However I have been told that this particular dictionary defines Central America reckoning Mexico in it. Can somebody please tell me that the Fowler's Modern English Usage says about North America (continent) as Central America? So much thank you in advance for answering this.

My copy of Fowler's Modern English Usage (Second Edition paperback, 1983) has no entries for "North America" or "Central America." The entry for "America" says nothing about the composition of either continent. Nor is there anything under "continent" or "Mexico." This edition doesn't seem to cover the subject at all.

Mexico is apart of North America. Look at any map of the North America, South America and Central America and you will see for yourself
