It's quite likely one of your tires is causing the shake. Either 1 bad tire or they need to be re-aligned and/or calibrated. Get them checked out before wasting time on your engine and tranny.

No it is transmission shudder happens right at that speed under slight throttle when worn out transmission can not hook up going into third gear at low speed. Not at all uncommon Dodge Chrysler problem. Transmission shops have gear boxes ready to put in to fix that condidtion. Do it before the shake breaks a motor mount if it has not already has done so.

mmm only shakes between 35-45mph? goes completely away above or below those speeds.?
If so replace both CV Axles. The inner cv joints are bad causing your problem
been there done that many many times. Its a common problem for Chrysler FWD mini vans

I dont think its the wheels as much as the engine itself. Being that "you feel" the shaking at 35-40 mph, it can be due to your engine rpm at that speed. if you go faster, you may not feels the vibrations as they become less rapid as rpm decreases, or too slow the piont where it wobbles. dramitically , so it doesnt have enough inertia force to vibrate the car. My best reccomndatyion is go to a echanic who 'll do u a free estimate and should tell you the problem. Maybe is the crankshaft? or a warped gear in your transmition.

well a transmission wont usually act that way if it was the trans. it would be giving you trouble whan it goes into torque converter lock up and would happen about 45 i have never seen an engine mount cause that..if it goes away after a certain speeed i would have to say something is out of ballance if not a wheel or tire maybe an axle shaft?

yeah, i have a 96 oldsmobile cierra. it does the same thing. the transmission is doing this because usually once the car goes past 40 something in changes gears. this is the sound the tranny makes when it is about to switch gears doesn't quite do it. this is normal but i would ask your mechanic just to be on the safe side (since we have different cars)
Hope This Helps.

My dad, and that's probably because your cars getting old or your motor. And Chrysler isn't a very good car company, so I'd say check your miles. If they have exceeted over 100,000 miles, than your car is getting old. Just try not going too fast, speed up slowly and see what happens.

It could be ball joints, alignment. If it only happens when braking it could be brakes; If it were the transmission, it would happen at all speeds. Does it only happen when accelerating? If not, while it is happening, take your foot off the brake, put the car in neutral. If it stops, it could be drive train related. If not, it is something else.

Sounds like your tires are out of balance, or one of the tires is separating. * tread from casing
