I'd dress nice but not necessarily dress up. (I just mean no torn jeans, etc...) I never dressed up seeing mine. I don't understand why you'd need to.

Well you may feel better when you are dressed nicely talking to your employee. Remember the lawyer is providing YOU the service. You have hired this person, they work for you.

it isn't required - but it is a good idea - your lawyer is a professional and will be representing you in a very important way otherwise you wouldn't have hired him/her. the lawyer will most likely be wearing a business suit - so it would be nice to dress up a bit as well

why? if you're paying her, she should be the one to dress up to impress you. however, if you're going to be seen by a judge or jury, you want to dress appropriately. so, yeah, dress up for the lawyer and ask her what you should change. here's a clue: get rid of all the body piercing things and the green hair. and if you're being sued for money, don't wear that $25,000 ring or jewelry, or they might take it right then.

Of course! However don't dress like you're on a date. (Dress, mascara etc..) Wear a simple business outfit and get ready to get serious for whatever you have to do. {Good luck}

depends on what you mean by 'dress up'. It's not a social visit, but I'd do 'business casual'. Slacks and sports shirt or blouse.

WOW -- this is a TOUGH legal question. Do you need to dress up? Hard to say. Better hire Perry Mason to represent you on that one!
