Let me put it to you this way. What number times 0 equals 0? The answer to this question is any number except infinity. (Infinity is a special case in mathematics.) Because any number times 0 equals 0, 0 divided by zero has an infinite number of possible answers. Therefore, we say that the answer to this equation is "undefined."

There really is no logical answer. It's undefined. Try typing 0 divided by 0 in a calculator, and an error message will pop up.

It depends. Different equations will yield a result of 0/0 but to find out their true value you must use l'hospitals rule and derivate the top and the bottom and take their limits continually until the result is not 0/0 or infiniti/infiniti. This will give you the answer.

Nothing. You can't divide something into no groups, but I guess you can divide nothing into no groups (and it would still be nothing, obviously). However, the conventional answer would be: Error: Division by Zero.

MS calculator says it undefined. That's only because its not smart enough to realize real world situations. If you have nothing to start with then divide by nothing you get nothing because you never had anything in the first place. Any 1st grader with a few apples could tell you that.

it is not possible to divide zero so zero would not be the answer, but you could write unsolvable or invalid question on your math assignment and this would be correct, I have done this
